All blogs listed in the blogroll have been accounted for in the Blogs by location link above. E-mail me if you have additions, subtractions or corrections: greg [at] lishost dot com.
I put up a partial list of blogs arranged by geography. Still working on the complete list.
In other news, it looks someone had a similar idea around the time I did. They're calling it Indyblogs. Go check it out. They have some really nice design going, which this site sorely lacks. To me though, Indy means Indianapolis, so I find that a bit confusing. Nonetheless, I contacted them to see if somehow we could work together or co-exist symbiotically. As people are in fact already contributing TrackBacks to this site, I'd hate to have wasted the effort. But they seem like they have some skills that could bring some ideas I have to fruition (like a graphically represented geographic distribution!). Who knows? Makes me a little panicky though.
I finally got around to creating a RSS feed exclusively for the TrackBacks, so that you can read new pinged entries in your aggregator. You'll need the URL to this page.
Of course, you can also subscribe to this feed to get my updates about the blog (such as what you're reading).
I just added the IU Blog Network to the sidebar and am debating whether to index them separately in the blogroll or not. Just a time consideration really, much like the Ball State Webring, but smaller in scope.
Regardless, while I continue to work on the geographic listing, the Blogroll will be displayed alphabetically. It's not a permanent change.
I've made the entire TrackBack archives available for browsing and am hard at work creating a breakdown of blogs by location. Expect to see it before the end of the weekend.
I just added a link in the blogroll to the Ball State University Webring, which contains almost 100 Ball State blogs, all using the Xanga client. The list shows the most recently updated, which is pretty handy. Adding the list seems more efficient than adding them all separately, much like what I did with the Diaryland blogs.
Indiana Blogs is now listing over 100 blogs! I know there are more out there, so keep those suggestions comin'. My next plan is to provide a list broken down by county and then town. This is a simple solution to the "mapping" concept I'd like to implement whenever I find someone who can make it happen. Anyway, let me know where you live, if it's not already there when you mouseover your blog name.
5 of the listed blogs are actively pinging this site upon posting! Granted two are mine, but still this is great. Next, I'll figure out how to make a syndicable feed out of the TrackBacks and then we'll really be in business. Stay tuned...
